Today is the day! Rain or shine, we are gonna party in the Zoo City. The radar... weather radar not speed radar... shows some potential patches of rain, but we are optimistic. If we get thunderstorms with lighting then that would be a game changer.

NNO is a free, family-friendly event that will feature law enforcement and first responder agencies from across Randolph County, community partners, mobile clinic, and resource booths. There will be free food, bounce houses, face painting, cute & cuddly animals, games, giveaways, and live music.

Bring your lawn chairs, meet your neighbors, and enjoy an evening of food, fun, and fellowship with those who serve and protect Randolph County.

The Cone Health ZooCity Sportsplex is excited to be the location host of this year's National Night Out Randolph County 2026! 🚓🚒

National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that promotes strong partnerships between law enforcement, fire departments, other first responder agencies, and the communities they serve, intending to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live and work.

This free, family-friendly event will feature:
• Law enforcement and first responder agencies from across Randolph County
• Interactive displays of vehicles and equipment, including patrol cars, fire trucks, ambulances, and specialty units
• Community partners and resource booths
• Free food, including hot dogs, snacks, and drinks
• Kids' activities, games, and giveaways
• And live entertainment

Local law enforcement agencies including the Asheboro Fire Department, Asheboro Police Department, and Randolph County Sheriff's Office, NC invite the community to join in the annual National Night Out 2026 celebration on Tuesday, August 4, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Zoo City Sportsplex, 2981 Zoo Pkwy, Asheboro, NC 27205.

In this role, you'll plan, organize, and direct athletic programs, reservations, tournaments, and special events at the Cone Health ZooCity Sportsplex. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in recreation, physical education or a closely related field is preferred - specifically with soccer and lacrosse programming. Evening/weekend work is required.
