We are adding our 11U athletes to the Open Gym sessions on July 6 & 8! This is your chance to get in the gym, sharpen those skills, and show us what you’ve got before we head toward tryouts this September.

Final record: 47-5.
Final stop: 3rd Place, Open Division Coastal Classic.
We asked for everything they had, and the Gators completely emptied the tank. 52 matches of pure grit and grind. Playing in the Open division means there’s nowhere to hide and zero easy points, and this squad backed down from absolutely nobody. Rest up and take a bow, Gators. You’ve earned it.

The Gators are swimming down to the Coastal Classic this weekend to play in the Open Division. We want the long rallies. We want the exhausting third sets. We want to see what happens when the flash fades and it all comes down to culture, endurance, and who wants the next point more. Head down. Stay humble. Outwork everyone.

Before tryouts kicks off, we want to invite you into our gym. Whether you’re actively looking for a change, wanting a higher standard, or just trying to get some touches in, open gyms are the perfect time to test the waters. Come shake off the rust, meet our coaching staff, and see if our culture is what you’ve been looking for. No pressure, just good volleyball.
🏐 14U–16U National Teams
We’re building teams to compete on the national stage. Playing at that level isn’t for everyone. It means tougher competition, higher expectations, and a bigger commitment. If you’re an athlete who thrives in that kind of environment, we want to see you at our National Open Gym session. (Pro-tip: If you attend the National session, you’re also welcome to jump into your regular age-group session, too. Take advantage of the extra reps before tryouts!)
🏐 Boys (Ages 11–16)
Boys’ volleyball is growing fast, and Coach Nick is leading a massive push to expand our program. We’re looking for competitive, hard-working guys from all over the area who are hungry to play and want to help us build something special.
We’re incredibly proud of the standard we’ve set here at Zoo City. Come step on the court and feel it for yourself.

Wonderful news for Randolph County! Zoo City Volleyball is excited to launch a Boys Volleyball Developmental Program for boys ages 11–16. This program is open to athletes of all developmental levels, whether they are brand new to volleyball or looking to continue building their skills.
Boys will try out alongside the girls during the July tryout dates and are expected to attend the tryout time for their appropriate age group. 11U boys should attend the 12U girls tryout session. The program will be led by Men’s Asheboro Varsity Coach Nicholas Neighbors and is designed to help grow boys volleyball in our area while giving athletes the opportunity to learn, compete, and develop in a positive club environment.
Tryouts will be held at Asheboro High School with a $30 tryout fee. Please sign up to register using the QR code or link.
