We have a very special Community WOD taking place next Saturday, November 8th. Around Veteran’s Day each year, thousands of take on CHAD1000X to honor Chad’s life. This year, we have the incredible honor of performing this workout at Asheboro’s Field of Honor, located at South Asheboro Middle School, and you are invited to join us.

If you feel led to give, Sara, Chad’s wife, created The Step Up Foundation that provides financial support dedicated to the Veteran Mental Health Initiative.

We’ll have boxes set up and get started at 8:30am. There will be no 7:00 Open Gym.

RUCK CHALLENGE
September 1- October 5th

We’re so excited that our weekly Rucks have sparked interest in so many of you that we decided to launch an official Ruck Challenge! Open to anyone; member or non-member!

WHAT YOU DO:
- Get in 5 miles/week for 5 weeks to hit the 25 mile goal
- Rack up your mileage anytime throughout the week, with or without weight
- We will still have our Saturday morning Rucks, usually +/- 2 miles, which covers almost half of your weekly target

WHAT YOU GAIN:
- Improved cardiovascular health
- Increased strength and endurance
- Improved posture
- Community
- Outdoor exposure

It’s so easy to overcomplicate exercise when it can be as simple and accessible as throwing some weight in a backpack (or not) and just walking with it. Think of it as low-impact accessory work. Get outside with us for the next 5 weeks and let’s smash this challenge together!

No 8:30 class, we will close following open gym at 8:15.

We want to encourage you to come out and support The Invictus Project Rescue Run 5k in downtown Asheboro. Several are already signed up, and it’s not too late! Sign up at runsignup.com or scan the QR code posted in the gym.

📢 New for this Saturday will be a ruck workout…we will brief the workout at 7. You are welcome to do this with a rucksack, weight-vest, sandbag, slam ball, or unweighted.

8:30am- FREE Independence Day WOD

We’ll have some light refreshments available afterwards and feel free to bring something to share. Come dressed in your most patriotic attire to celebrate our freedom! 🇺🇸

A group of us will also be meeting at Caraway Creek Preserve for a ~2 mile Ruck Saturday morning! Come join us with a weighted vest/pack or just come as you are!

It’s going to be a fun weekend of FREEDOM!

Our mission is to help people develop physically,mentally, and spiritually to meet the needs of life’s everyday challenges.

Our facility is located at the heart of Asheboro on Dixie Drive. CrossFit Asheboro consists of 7000 square feet which will be home to enough rigs, rowers, and weights to provide the best and only CrossFit workout in our town. A separate area will be provided for kids so that parents can get their workout in for the day. For those heading to work, bathrooms with lockers and showers will also be provided.
