Dear Ashburn Community,

It is with profound sadness that we extend our condolences following the tragic plane crash on Wednesday night, which claimed the lives of the student athletes and coaches from our neighbors at the Ashburn Ice House. Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of such vibrant and promising young souls.

The entire Ashburn community is shaken and devastated by this heartbreaking event. We recognize the impact this loss has on the families, teammates, and friends of those who were taken too soon. The bonds formed through sports and shared experiences are incredibly strong, and we stand united in our grief.

On behalf of everyone at LOCO Gymnastics and Kaisen MMA, we want to express our deepest sympathy to the families affected, the figure skating community, and all the children and athletes mourning this tragic loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this incredibly difficult time.

Together, we will honor the memories of those lost and support one another as we navigate through this tragedy. Our programs will begin today with a moment of silence to honor all those lost.

Walked out of the season with 6 individual state titles!

Huge congratulations to Mahika Ramagiri for dominating the podium at states with a first-place finish on vault, scoring 9.7. She also placed fifth on bars with a score of 9.65, third on beam with a score of 9.625, and first on floor with a score of 9.775, achieving a total state score of 38.75 taking the All-Around title of 2nd in the state in Age group 12-Jr1, and 30th out of 1137 total state contenders. It's an honor to call myself your coach!

"Kicking off our State Meet Weekend with a bang! 🎉🏆 LoCo Gymnastics is excited to announce our very own Ella Luna-Robinson as the new VA State Champion in the Bronze Division 6-Jr1 age group, dominating the all-around champion. At just 6 years old, she's already ranked 1st in the state. Talk about a force to be reckoned with! 💪🏼🤸‍♀️ We couldn't be more proud of her hard work and dedication. Let's go, Ella! "
