Dulles Little League will be holding a Player Clinic at Parsells Field on Saturday, September 7th.

This FREE baseball clinic will be available for those players who are playing any division from Instructional Rookie (IR) to Majors this fall. We will be covering basic fundamentals for all players in the following: Throwing, Catching, Fielding, Hitting, and Pitching (Single A to Majors session only). There will be two separate sessions:

· IR and Rookie from 4:30 PM to 5:30

· Single A to Majors from 5:45 to 7:00

Are you interested in earning some extra money?

Would you like to add solid work experience to your resume, which may improve your chance of getting into your #1 college choice or landing a full-time job?

If you said yes to any of these questions, then you should umpire for Dulles Little League. All of you played Little League (either past or currently) and you know what a difference it makes to have good umpires on the field. Umpiring for Dulles Little League is a tremendous opportunity to contribute to your community and serve as a role model for the kids. You will also earn money for your efforts.

I have never umpired before…am I qualified?

Anyone league age 12 and above this year is eligible to umpire. We will make sure you have the training and support necessary to be successful. All umpires with less than three seasons of experience are required to attend one of our training sessions before each season. .

How much will I get paid?

We pay home plate umpires $35 and field umpires $30 per game. If you umpire a game by yourself, we will pay you $50.

Yesterday our DLL Juniors battled hard and left everything on the field. Even though their run is ending we wanted to take a moment to celebrate this great team.

Congrats to our 8/9/10s All Stars! They are Virginia State Champions! Today was a hard fought battle against York LL, the boys keep fighting a had a walk off win. Throughout the state tournament they scored 45 runs and only allowed 6 runs.

Next stop is Wilson North Carolina for the Regional Tournament!

Semi- Finals HERE WE COME! Both DLL Teams showed up to play today and had great wins this morning. They are both headed to the semi-finals this afternoon.

Juniors will play at 3pm vs DTQ LL (Dumfries, Quantico, Triangle)

8/9/10s will play at 5pm vs Broadway LL

Both DLL Teams that are representing Virginia District 16 Little League in the Virginia State Tournaments won their pools and are headed to the Elite Eight!

The DLL Juniors went 3-0 in pool play. In all three games they scored 29 runs and only allowed 3 runs. They are back on the field at 9am vs Fairfax.

The 8/9/10s went 2-1 in pool play, scoring 17 runs and only allowing 4. They are back on the field tomorrow at 12pm vs Ridgeview.
