Thanks for the years of support For the first few years, Monument was there to service any of your skateboard needs, and then we grew into a full service board shop where one could also get surf supplies, clothing, sunglasses and many other accessories. Its unfortunate, but we must inform you that in mid-September2009 Monument will be closing its doors for good. We want to say thank you to all of
our loyal customers for their continued support of what we felt was truly a shop for the locals and part of the fabric that makes up this community. The economy is tough right now and in turn, people aren’t spending money the way they had in the past. This downturn in consumer confidence has negatively affected an array of business’ in many different fields and although we have tried to fight it, we are one of them. The good news for you is this, EVERYTHING MUST GO!! We figured that we should give back by discounting the entire store just in time for back to school as a way to show our appreciation. So come down and say goodbye to what has been for the last 9 years an Arroyo Grande landmark, or shall we say, a Monument. While you are here be sure to take advantage of the deals we are passing along and so we can have a chance to say thanks all of you: our customers, our people, our friends.
