I see this alot in my training the many of us do not use our hips properly. The hip hinge is a very important and basic movement our bodies are design to do. It enables us to squat (which alot of us have forgotten how to do ), to bending over without using our lower back. Many of us are primarily using our lower backs without the assistance of our hips. Which often leads to lower back pain. Below is a simple exercise that can lead to teaching your hips to mover properly.

Day 8…Do you ever have those days when you want to get something done and things always seems to get in the way???😡😡..

I’m feeling so good with my 5 to 7 day reset. I decided to continue past day seven and add 10 minutes of meditation to my morning routine. I’m so excited to get back to this practice. I got up 10 minutes early, Got all set up ready to go and guess what decides to start going off. The chirping of my smoke alarm, not just one of them but ALL of them. UGH!!! Don’t think calming my mind is going to happen today. But I’m not going to quit. There is always tomorrow.

Going into day 3. I found a substitute for my morning coffee. First start with hot water and lemon, throw my clothes on that I laid out the night before, put my shoes on and went for a 15 minute walk, even in the rain!! 💪🏻💪🏻 I’ve been doing that since day one and it seems to be working. Not really craving a coffee too much time. What have you noticed so far?

Day 2…The gym is a mess. Lol. It’s been a crazy busy day today, but I’m committed to moving every day even if it’s for only 15 minutes. The rower is my go to today, since it’s raining out side and my knee doesn’t like me to run lately. No matter what you can do today JUST DO IT!! If not 15 minutes go for 10. If not 10 go for 5. JUST MOVE!!

Day One..The official start of my reset. My goal is really to cut back on my caffeine. So…hot water and lemon is my replacement. And to be honest it’s not too bad. 😂 And it’s has so, so many health benefits. I’ll let you know how it goes. Enjoy the day everyone.
