The Arlington community needs you! We saw time and time again in the data collected through the Heart and Soul process how important our youth sports program is to our community. They provide a firm athletic foundation for our future athletes, provides an opportunity to create new friendships for our kids, forms of community in itself for our families, and is a source of community pride.

To keep our youth sports program going Arlington Rec Council is looking for new volunteers to step in to vital leadership roles. Arlington Rec Council is looking for a President, Treasurer, and Baseball Commissioner. If you think you may have skills that would fit these positions please reach out to [email protected] to learn more.

⚽️ INFORMATIONAL MEETING 📝

Join us on Monday, June 1 from 6:00pm to 6:45pm at the outdoor pavilion near the red park building. Interested players (and their parents) will learn more about what to expect from this year's Arlington HS Club Soccer season.

Hey Soccer Rec families do you have one of these laying around? Bring them to us!

U8-U15 boys and girls soccer reuse the same jerseys for both spring and fall seasons. Brand new they run $20 but you can pass them down, hand them off to another family or you can bring them to us and we can disperse them as needed.

Fall soccer signups will be June 1st so keep that in mind if you have a kid playing.

What are your thoughts on signing a waiver at the beginning of the season agreeing to return the jersey or pay a fee if not returned or damaged? The council would wash, store and hand out jerseys the following seasons

Would this be helpful or stressful?

⚽️ It’s Opening Day! ⚽️

The wait is over and the kids are back on the pitch! As we kick off a great season, let’s keep these quick reminders in mind to ensure a positive environment for everyone:

- Celebrate the Kids: Focus on their effort and fun, not the score.

- Respect the Refs: Show patience and kindness to our referees, many of whom are also kids in our community!

- Support the Volunteers: Our coaches and staff are neighbors giving their time. Let’s lead with gratitude.

- Sideline Spirit: Let the coaches coach and the players play. Be their #1 fan!

Let’s model great sportsmanship today and all season long. See you at the fields!

🍿🌭⚽️ We’re excited to offer concession stands during the soccer season—but we need YOUR help to make it a success!

We’ll begin with Saturday games and hope to expand with strong community support.

A special thank you to the Ramsey, Russell, and Mobley families for donating dirt, seed, fertilizer, and equipment to improve our playing surfaces.

We have a limited supply of blankets that will be available for purchase today for $35/ea.

Here’s how our equipment exchange works:

DONATE EQUIPMENT: Bring your gently used, clean, and still-usable soccer items (cleats, shin guards, jerseys, etc.).

TAKE WHAT YOU NEED: We will have tables full of pre-loved gear. Feel free to browse and find something that fits your needs. No donation is necessary to take an item, but all donations are gratefully accepted!

BUY A BLANKET: We will have a limited supply of plush blankets available to purchase at $35/ea.
