We have sad news to share. We have just learned that one of our own, Tofik Beshir, was involved in a head-on collision yesterday afternoon while cycling on a gravel road near his college in North Carolina. He is currently in the ICU.

Tofik started at Phoenix Bikes as a youth in our Earn-A-Bike program and still uses the shop to fix and prep bikes for races. We have closely followed his career and cheer his cycling successes – most recently last weekend at the Charm City Classic.

Please join us in sending healing thoughts and prayers for Tofik. A GoFundMe, unconnected to Phoenix Bikes, has been started to help Tofik and his family with his medical care and recovery.

Facebook is limiting direct links. The GoFundMe link is in the first comment below.

So...MoCo Epic has been postponed to next weekend due to forecasted lousy weather.

That means there WILL be tech time on Saturday, October 10!
