With the heat in mind, we are starting at 8am. We are meeting at the River Legacy East Trail Head. There is a bridge that crosses the trinity river next to the parking lot. We will ride eastward and enjoy some of the best shade and paved trails our city has to offer.

We will only stay on paved trails, with no street crossing unless otherwise noted. All bikes, including E-Bikes, are welcome!

What do you need?
Please make sure to bring water, sunscreen, and safety gear as needed. Helmets are REQUIRED. There are portable bathrooms at the trailhead only, and a gas station down the street from the trailhead (requires street crossings.)

We average about 11miles at 11mph, but we naturally break into smaller groups based on comfort level. This is a very recreational and supportive group.

We will leave promptly at 8am so please arrive at 7:30am or earlier to get situated.

…..STRIKES, gutter balls, and laughs all around! Thank you to our members that joined us for our Day Trip to AMF Spare Lanes and the International Bowling Museum & Hall of Fame. We were treated so well by the staff at both locations. We can’t wait to go bowling again! Let us know if that would be something you are interested in the comments below!

Keep an eye out, because our day trips for September open up for registration on August 18! Upcoming trips include the DFW Car and Toy Museum and the Dallas Farmers market. Spaces are limited, and registrations open at 5:30am Aug. 18.

We'll kick things off with a visit to the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame to explore the history and legends of bowling. Afterward, we'll grab lunch together (Lunch is pay on your own) at the lanes to see who in the group has the best bowling skills (or the most entertaining gutter balls)! Shoe rental and lane time is included in your ticket. Come ready for laughs, friendly competition, and a great time.

ACTIV Bike Club – Arlington 150th Anniversary Special Ride: Cycling Through Art, History, and Community

Join us tomorrow morning for a special bike ride celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the City of Arlington!

This unique ride combines fitness, community, local history, and public art. We’ll explore Arlington’s beautiful trail system, visit several city parks, search for the iconic Golden Boot sculpture, and discover other public art along the way.
