How To Land a Sneaky Rear Calf Kick
Most fighters will attack the near leg when they do a leg kick, but old school Dutch kickboxers use lateral movement to create angles to target their opponents rear leg with sneaky inside thigh kicks or calf kicks. In this video, we break down how to do a sharp jab, to a tight lead hook, and finish the striking combination with a rear calf kick designed to catch an opponent off guard while staying in range and defensively responsible.
This Dutch kickboxing style setup works great for MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, sparring, and striking drills. Learn how to take angles correctly, hide your hook, protect your ribs, and land clean low kicks that your opponent won’t expect.
