Staff Spotlight! Let’s welcome Ms. Shelly, one of our newest staff members!!

Ms Rachelle aka Ms Shelly has been in dance her whole life, she was born about a  week after recital and hasn’t stopped dancing since. She grew up in Joy McDaniel dance studio taking classes from ages 2-18 and was a teacher for three years. She moved to Colorado for 15 years and taught and attended dance class all around the city. She learned from famous choreographers who were on Dancing with the Stars and back up dancers for artists such as Beyoncé, Janet Jackson and many others who visited and guest taught at studios she taught at. Ms Shelly also has been very involved with the special needs and down syndrome community and hopes to bring a dance program to the children in Memphis. She is happy to be back to her roots to be closer to family and hopes to pass along her love of dance to the children at JMAD.
