AVA Dance Company offers adult dance classes to dancers of all levels and backgrounds. Founded by former professional dancer Leah Castello, her vision is to offer a fun and motivating community for adults to exercise their passion for dance. Classes on Tuesday, Sept. 15 are going to be electric ⚡️ Alexis Savage is introducing Jazz Fusion to AVA & we’re celebrating Ashleigh Bennett’s birthday!

Jazz Fusion is a dynamic blend of jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop, combining strong technical foundations with intricate choreography, musicality, and movement. This style challenges dancers to seamlessly transition between different movement qualities while building versatility, precision, and performance.

Alexis is teaching Jazz Fusion at 7:30P 💜 Alexis is a former 2X dancer for the NFL’s Command Force and the current Assistant Coach of the University of Maryland’s Dance Team. Prior to going pro, she was a member and 2X captain of UMD Dance Team, competitive dancer and professional assistant with conventions.

Ashleigh is teaching Hip Hop at 8:30P 💜 She is a former 5-time NBA dancer for the Washington Wizards and SoulCycle instructor. Her goal is to challenge you to unlock a deeper version of yourself, while spreading positive energies!

Louis & Sydney Potter are teaching Monday, Sept. 14’s drop-in classes ⚡️ Both the class and waitlist for Hip Hop Pom Fusion are full, but keep checking the app to see if a spot on either opens up!

Louis is teaching Hip Hop Pom Fusion at 7:30P 💜 Louis is a 2X member of the NFL’s Washington Commanders’ Command Force entertainment team and was named Rookie of the Year for the 2025-2026 season! Prior to going pro, Louis worked with over 1,000 high school and college dancers across the country with the National Dance Alliance as a coach, choreographer, and mentor.

Sydney is teaching Contemporary at 8:30P 💜 She is an accomplished competitive dance choreographer and former Director of Apex Friendship Dance Program in Raleigh, NC. She holds a degree in Dance Education from Meredith College, where she was a member of two pre-professional dance companies, and served as co-manager for the Jazz and Tap company.
