Meadowbrook Park Golf Course Located one mile east of downtown Arlington in Meadowbrook Park, Meadowbrook Park Golf Course, opened in 1924, is the oldest course in Arlington.

The 9-Hole course par 33 consists of six par fours 250 to 300 yards in length and three par threes approximately 150 yards in length. Its small greens and narrow fairways are designed to challenge every level of player and is fun for the whole family. The clubhouse offers a full line pro shop, concessions, and golf cart rentals. Meadowbrook Park Golf Course was Arlington's first city park, consist

ing of 52 acres, was purchased by the City of Arlington for $5,000 in 1923. The Arlington Rotary Club sponsored the park and it officially, opened in 1924 with picnic grounds and a nine-hole golf course. The 1930s saw the addition of a small woodbine sandstone structure that served as a monkey house. Today, that sandstone structure is part of the maintenance facility. A 9-hole walking course easily played under time constraints with a long-standing commitment to environmental enhancement and preservation, Meadowbrook Park Golf Course is an excellent choice for families and leagues. Play begins at Meadowbrook Park Golf Course thirty minutes before daylight and ends thirty minutes before dark every day except Christmas Day. Call for Thanksgiving Day hours. Weekend/Holiday tee times are accepted by phone or in person beginning at 6:00 a.m. the prior Tuesday. Weekday tee times are accepted up to a week in advance by phone or in person. WINTER WEATHER CLOSURE:
Arlington Golf will begin covering greens on Saturday, Jan. 4, in advance of the below-freezing low temps in the weather forecast. Our current re-opening date is tentatively scheduled for Jan. 9, depending on weather conditions.

This closure impacts Lake Arlington Golf Course, Tierra Verde Golf Club, Meadowbrook Park Golf Course and Texas Rangers Golf Club. The golf shops will remain open from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM daily.

Ventana Grille at Tierra Verde will be open from 8a-5p on Sunday, and 8a-7p on Mon-Wed. Home Plate at Texas Rangers GC will be open from 8a-5p on Sunday, and 8a-8p on Mon-Wed.
