We have a few students that can't make it at 10 so I am changing the time to 11-1 tomorrow, sparring class at 11 and open sparring at 12, maybe we'll take up a collection and order some pizza for lunch!!! I've forgotten to put it out at this weeks classes but I will put out the garage A/C donation box for any welcome contributions as well. 6407 Mercedes, Arlington - 11:00am-1:00pm, bring sparring gear if you have it but I have some to lend if you don't.

We will have a sparring class tomorrow from 10:30 -12:00 at our garage dojo, 6407 Mercedes, Arlington. We will have 2 sparring mats as well as heavy bags, focus mitts and instructors to help. Bring gear if you have it if not I have some to lend. Parents bring chairs if you want to sit.

Garage sale went very well despite the weather. We are so blessed to have such an awesome group of families at RPKA. We made a garage sale fun with some sparring and great friends. I want to thank (this list is gonna be long, I hope I include everyone) Miss Alyssa, Kalee, Stacy, The Chau family, The Atchley family, Jennifer Birchett, and Chris Bryant (my sister) and a special thank you to Mr. Mark, Mr. Tom and Mr, Shippen. But most of all I want to thank Anita and Sherri, they have worked very hard the last few weeks to get the garage in "fighting shape". We have a lot to do but we are getting closer every week. We earned some money for equipment for the Church and lights, mirrors and burn bars (sorry kids they are coming back) for the garage dojo. This has become not only a new dojo but a family, and there is no way we could continue without the support of our great kids and parents....I am proud to say I am RPKA!!!!!

We will be having a garage sale tomorrow to clear out my garage for our tournament/sparring area and raise some money for RPKA equipment, if you have any old items you would like to donate to the sale please bring them by my house this evening or in the morning (address to follow). We will also have open sparring and heavy bag work at 10am during the garage sale, come check out the beginning of our new padded sparring/training area. It is going to be a little chilly but we'll put heaters out and the kids can wear sweats and warm sox. Bring gear if you have it but I have plenty for borrowing. One last post for tonight, mats for the garage sparring/tournament training facility just got delivered we will have the new big room at the church and Maddie's training dojo done together in a couple weeks, plus some mats for sparring at the Church. RPKA is very much on the upswing!!!
