Season wrapped. And what a year it’s been.

From first strides to podium finishes, early mornings to late-night ice… this team showed up every single day.

Huge thank you to our coaches for pushing, guiding, and believing. To the parents for the nonstop support, rides, and sacrifices behind the scenes. And to the Potomac staff for building an environment where these skaters can grow and compete at a high level.

Potomac won the title of US Short Track National Club Champion at Age Group Nationals for the EIGHTH time in a row (over 10 years because of two pandemic years) and the ninth time in club history! Congrats to the 28 skaters who competed for Team Potomac. Thank you to US Speedskating and Bay State Speedskating Club for putting on a great race at the beautiful and historic The Skating Club of Boston rink, and to all the volunteers whose blood, sweat and tears made it possible. It was great to meet Olympians Clayton DeClemente, Julie Letai, Kristen Santos-Griswold and PSC alum Andrew Heo! Coach John-Henry Krueger, we are so grateful for all your hard work. Coach Simon Cho, congrats on creating a dynasty. We hear you’re already hatching plans for next season and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
