Well we finally got it done this year! Picked up the heat race and the feature win at Arlington last night. Feels really good after the past couple weeks we’ve had. We’re off to Redwood tonight to see if we can keep this momentum rolling. Huge thanks to everybody on the side of this car who makes this all possible.

We haven’t posted much lately because we’ve been having nothing but bad luck last Saturday in Arlington on the last lap I had a car spin in 3&4 right infront of me. By the time I saw him due to another car being between us and blocking my vision it was too late. Bent a bunch of stuff on the RF of the car. Huge thank you to Engholm Fabrication & Repair for making time last week to cut this thing apart and weld some new bars in it. Then there’s last night. We went down to worthington and sometime between the heat and when I went to start the car for the feature the fuel bowl vent on the carb made its way down the intake into cylinder 8 so we decided not to run the feature and bring it home and go through the motor. We will not be making it to redwood today. We will have to see what’s next for us this year because right now it’s all up in the air.

Just was not a good night for us couldn’t get the car to handle how we needed it to all night.

Saturday Brainerd

Heat 7th->3rd
Feature 10th->3rd

Since Arlington canceled we figured we’d head north and check out all the new changes at North Central Speedway and man are we glad we did. That is a completely different track from last year. We will definitely be trying to get back up there again before the end of the year!

There will be no racing today Sunday with Redwood canceling

Weekend recap! It was quite an eventful weekend (not in a good way)

Friday Slayton
Heat 2nd->4th
Feature 3rd->5th

Was leading the heat with 2 to go and came up on lap traffic. That car decide they wanted to use the whole track in in 3&4 and came from the bottom all the way to the top as i was coming around them and pinched me off into the wall causing me to fall back to 4th. The feature was a dyno session with very little passing.

Saturday Arlington

Feature 5th->4th

Was a pretty normal night for us with nothing to exciting happening.

Sunday Redwood
Heat 6th->3rd
Feature 9th->13th(DNF)

Started the night pretty strong in the heat but 4 laps into the feature while running 6th the upper radiator hose collapsed and blew a hole in it ending our night there for our first DNF of the year.
