Creative leads, Jared Soares and Lucas Mendes reimagined a set of blank jerseys by using a Japanese dyeing technique called Shibori Itajime, which utilizes boards clamped together around sections of folded fabric to resist the dye in different patterns, creating a unique but uniform aesthetic for each shirt. The box design is nod to both Soares and Mendes’ Portuguese heritage. The numbers were created by .

Virginia Dream FC will compete for a $1 million dollar cash prize at The Soccer Tournament, the first ever 7v7 competition made up of current and former professionals from around the world. We’re excited to go against Wrexham AFC, Club Nexaca and a whole host of MLS and US Men’s and Women’s National team legends. See you in Cary, North Carolina June 1-4, 2023.

Founded in 2022 by Lucas Mendes, Virginia Dream FC is a franchise rooted in creativity and forward thinking that will support players both on and off the field.
