IN-BARN LEASE

🐴Theo🐴
2010 16hh Percheron/QH cross Gelding

Theo has done a little bit of everything including low level dressage, low level jumping, trail riding, ranch work, obstacle courses and teaching lessons! This guy has three smooth and adjustable gaits and knows basic lateral work. He is a kick ride/more whoa than go and is educated enough for a rider that is more experienced to have fun with but also simple enough for a confident intermediate level rider that isn’t afraid of being assertive. Possibility for weekly or biweekly lessons for an additional cost in barn or bring your current (insured) trainer for lessons. This guy is perfect for a teen or adult that wants a horse to ride and love on without the cost and burden of ownership. Owner open to different lease terms, but the horse must stay in barn. Ideal candidate would want to ride 3-5 days per week.

Lease cost dependent on amount of usage STARTING at $3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ per month. Depending on rider and horse fit tack can be included or bring your own!

He is located in Arlington, WA about 5 minutes from the Smokey Point Costco.

“Theo”
2010 16hh Percheron/QH cross Gelding

Where do I start? Theo probably isn’t going to win any beauty contests but he makes up for it with a sweet personality and a long resume. He has done a little bit of everything including low level dressage, jumping, trail riding, ranch work, obstacle courses and teaching lessons! I think he would be a perfect pony club horse for a teen or an adult that wants something safe to have fun on at the lower levels- think 1st/2nd level dressage and the 2’6” and under job. This guy has three smooth gaits and knows his lateral work. He is a “kick ride” yet not a total dead head and is educated enough for a rider that is more experienced but also safe and simple enough for an intermediate level rider that is taking lessons. Theo does best with daily turnout and is good with other horses. He is good to tie, clip, bathe and stands for the farrier. While he is good at loading, he needs work on standing quietly without trying to back out, but if someone shuts the door behind him he’s good to go and better if he has a friend in the trailer. Theo doesn’t receive any maintenance and is sound with 4 shoes currently and is an easy keeper. This guys is going to be some kid or adult’s best friend! Video available for serious interest.

He is located in Arlington, WA. PPE at buyers expense.

Asking $🔟0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ but good fit is most important!

Berri
2012 15.1hh grade Criollo/QH Mare

Berri is a super sweet mare looking for her next partner. She is a very sensitive and forward ride needs a confident experienced rider that will enjoy her “hot” way of going. Berri has done lots of trail riding, been to some playdays, played around with cows and has been ridden at the beach. She does best in consistent work and would thrive in a job working cows or trail riding. She has three forward gaits, a good stop and back, leg yields, haunch turns and has lead changes. Berri is currently in very inconsistent work which results in her having a buck in the canter transitions occasionally, however when she is in consistent work (3-6 days/week) she has no buck, rear or bolt. Berri is very sweet on the ground and is currently stalled with daily turnout, although she also loves living outside full time. She stands tied/cross tied, stands for the farrier, bathes, clips and loads/hauls quietly. Berri is currently barefoot and up to date on all vet and farrier care and is sound with no maintenance. This is a super cool mare that just needs the right rider to bring out the best in her. She is located in Arlington, WA. Offering her at a far lower asking than she is worth, because I just don’t have the time she needs and deserves to thrive.
