It’s hard to put into words what this team has meant to us. Solar Rodriguez 14B wasn’t just a soccer team: it was a family. A wild, beautiful, unforgettable ride.
From the early morning conditioning to the road trip tournaments, from heartbreaking losses to championship wins. These boys grew up together on the field. They learned to fight for each other, laugh with each other, pick each other up, and believe in something bigger than themselves.
To the Coach Lupe who poured so much into these kids- thank you. And to the parents… what a village. Carpools, parties, cheers in the rain and blistering heat: we did this together.
As this chapter closes, we’re walking away with so much more than medals and memories. We’re leaving with bonds that will last a lifetime. No matter where they go next, these boys will always carry the spirit of Solar with them.
