Our fun tournament with Nashville was played last night and we had a lot of fun! Lots of great tennis matches were played and lots of players (and coaches) went home tired! 🤣 Always a blast with our friends from Nashville. Some results for our Badger Team:

Varsity Doubles - 3rd place: Ben Taylor and Henry Harrell

Junior Varsity Singles - 1st Place: Eric Barranco
Junior Varsity Singles - 2nd Place: Linkin Elrod

A little late on an update but I need to brag on these kids that represented our Badger Tennis program well during our district tournament! We had an amazing day with lots of tennis and long matches. The boys team ended up finishing as Co-District Champs (6th year in a row)! Jared Campbell and Huston Hooten beat our other boys team, Ezra Campbell and Timothy Levar, in a third set tie break to take first and second. Ben Taylor won his first singles match of the day and Henry Harrell fought hard in the first round too.

The girls finished 3rd in District overall with Annie Hardin and Sydney Greer taking 2nd place in the girls doubles. We had 2 girls singles battle it out for 3rd place, Jaci Jones and Rachael Womack, with Jaci prevailing in the end. It was a battle! Amelia Price/Carly Martin had a tough team in their first round match.

Jared/Huston, Ezra/Timmy, Annie/Sydney and Jaci will be presenting us at our 4A State Tournament in Clarksville on Monday morning!! Let’s go, Badgers!!
