Fall Team Meeting

📣 Fall Team Meeting Notice

Our fall team meeting will be held Tuesday, August 18th at 7:15 p.m. in the High School Auditorium.

All incoming 6th graders and their families, as well as all other participants and families, are encouraged to attend.

During this brief meeting, we will discuss:

* Registration information
* What to expect this fall
* Upcoming team details

I will also be distributing fundraiser information and paperwork at the meeting.

We chose this time in an effort to accommodate as many sports practices and schedules as possible. We hope this time works well for everyone and look forward to seeing you there!

🏆🏆 2X STATE CHAMPIONS! 🏆🏆

The Argyle S***t Team has done it again!

These kids are incredibly busy and, at times, have trouble fitting in even their weekly conference rounds. Many are involved in baseball, softball, and other activities, yet they still find time to shoot their two rounds each week. Despite not having the opportunity to shoot a lot of extra rounds, they have proven that the time and effort they do put in is championship-worthy.

To say that I am proud of these kids would be an understatement. They competed against some very impressive shooters yesterday and rose to the occasion when it mattered most.

This achievement is a testament to the hard work of every athlete, the dedication of the coaches and volunteers, and the unwavering support of families and our incredible community. Success at this level doesn't happen by chance—it is earned through commitment, teamwork, and perseverance.

A special congratulations goes out to our individual state award winners:

The girls were shooting well yesterday at the dual meet!

Ivy earned the top middle school female shooter award with 44 out of 50 

Brinley earnned the top high school female shooter with 42 out of 50 

Huge shout out to Gunner Ge**er on our team for shooting 48 out of 50 a new Personal best for him. It was awesome to see his big smile. Unfortunately I did not get a picture of it. 

Our team had good shooting on an amazing day with great weather. What means more to me as a coach than winning any sort of medal or plaque is that I saw smiles on our kids faces as they all were shooting better than their personal best. Seeing these kids improve and be happy with their personal improvement, makes it worthwhile. In the three weeks we have been shooting a midst crazy schedules these kids are over scheduled but still find time to shoot every week and improve. I am very proud of all of them

Spring fundraiser for the team going on now!! You will be able to buy tickets from any member after Wednesday of this week and you can currently purchase tickets at Goodfella’s Bar and Grill. We have some nice prizes this year  thanks to our wonderful donors.

Any sixth graders interested in joining the trap team this spring, please take note that Hunter's Safety is a mandatory requirement. There is a class starting March 3 at the Argyle Rod & Gun club that you will have to enroll in prior to attending. If anyone is interested in this, I can talk to you about enrolling. Our trap team will have its registration meeting for the spring trap season on February 25 in the Argyle High School commons starting at 6:30 pm.
