Hello. It's been awhile since I have posted and would like to share some information. I have been developing scent attractants and cover similar to those found at your local retailer. I have both a spray and dip that are available in crawdad, bait fish, garlic and anise. These scents are comprised of natural enzymes that predatory fish encounter in their freshwater environments and utlize a biochemical solution taken directly from various prey items. What this means is that they will taste ans smell like the real deal. Further, I have omtted the salt from my recipes as I have found no credible evidence to indcate that freshwater fish have any fondness of saline. As a matter of fact, what I did find in the research is that all the added salt really does is cause quicker deterioration of metal hooks used for soft plastic baits. According to fishery biologists, what causes a fish to keep a bait in it's grip is the flavor and tecture of the lure, with exception of those intended to elicit a reaction strike. This is why I use only natural extracts from prey orgnaisms found in natural environments. Once I have figured the manufacturing costs I will post prices for JB's Bio-Scents. Each scent will be available in 4 and 5 oz bottles for both the spray and dip.
