Calling all Hammond alumni, we are bringing the 70s back with a disco dance party and you know you want to go! Silent Auction, raffles, 50/50, sweets and treats plus costume and dance contests! I don’t know a better way to show your support for Hammond and its wrestling program than to attend this once in a lifetime event! We have never have a dance party till now! Come and show your moves! Camp will be lead by Hammond’s High school coaches (and Headhunters) Coach Overton and Coach TJ and Coach Shezan. Huge congratulations to Cody Johnson for his amazing athletic and academic achievement for being honored and receiving the award from the National Wreslting Coaches Association and the United States Marine Corps as Hammond High Schools 2024 All American Scholar
Cody went 41-6 this season and as a NHS scholar maintaining a 4.4 GPA during his wreslting career at Hammond! Wow!!’

💪2 state wrestling championship placers!
🏆Congratulations to Clara Freeman for placing 3rd (125 lbs Girls) finishing 15-2 against girls in her junior year and regional championship!

🏆Congratulations to Will Terry for placing 4th (138 lbs boys) finishing with an amazing 44-6 senior season and a county championship!

Cody missed the podium losing in the blood round this morning but what a great senior season going 41-7, and a county and regional finalist.

These three had quite a ride this season! We are so proud of them and all of the Hammond Wrestling team!

We want to wish Will and Cody an amazing wrestling future as they open a new chapter in the NCAA!

Update from States!
Will and Clara both went 1-1 today (winning their first matches) and have secured a podium spot in their weight classes and will battle in the consi tomorrow.
Cody went 1-1 today (losing his first and then coming back with a win) and needs to win his first in consi quarters to get there! They are locked in and ready to rock! 🐻
JT ended his incredible sophomore season going 1-2 at states and we are all so proud of him! The sky is the limit for his future!
