Shannon from Brickeys Junction brought out great group of fellas again joined by Adam & Erica to bring an end to our 2026 upland hunting season here at Strut n Rut. We hunted our birds first thing then enjoyed rest day just relaxing have some great conversations and shooting several rounds of Annie Oakley. Thanks to all for spending your Sunday at the cabin!!

Chad gathered this group of fellas and Birdie brought his hunting buddy Jovey for some outstanding upland hunting action, what great day it was to say the least. Not to mention Bean taking the lead on some great wing shooting, at 13 this young man was a joy to be around. He definitely was showing us how to do it. Thanks to all for coming out to Strut n Rut for the day !

Jake brought out group of friends from divy, my old neighbors the Zimmerman’s, CAARRTTTER, Randy, Zack & Brownie & Joe to enjoy the weekend of Roooosters, Annie Oakley, 3 card gut and more fun than adults are allowed to have. Great seeing everyone again and huge thanks for coming to the cabin.

Caleb brought out this group family and friends for great day here at cabin. This group enjoyed birds, clays, food and some great conversations for their annual upland hunt. Thanks guys for coming out, see y’all next year !!

Parker’s, Jone’s & Conreaux’s came in for their annual family upland hunt and oh what a great time we had. It’s really just about enjoying the weekend with family & friends - chasing some roosters and well maybe shooting a couple thousand clays lol. Big shout out to all of them for all the years they have been coming out to Strut n Rut cabin. Thanks again guys and see yuall next year !!

Clays, food, pheasant, chuckars & great company enjoyed by all not to mention John bringing out his 9 month old pudelpointer - Fergie, and wow what great upland parter she is going be !
