Wow, BIG shout out to EWB Offroad for organizing such a great event!

Logs in the Bogs 5.0 was our very first hare scramble, and it won't be the last. Tucker and Cameron both had an absolute blast trying yet another new discipline on the dirtbikes.

Tucker told us before we got there today that his goal was to place top 5. And sure enough, after running 6th most of the race, he got a pass on the last lap for a 5th place finish!

Cameron had a ton of fun riding, and is such a compassionate guy that he spent a lot of time stopping to help other riders who were stuck. Love that in this sport, everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Big thanks to this year's sponsor, Turn Key Remodels LLC for helping to make this possible.

Can't wait for the next race weekend!

The 2026 Dirt bike season is right around the corner!

Both these bikes got some maintenance and new wheels this winter, and they are ready to hit the dirt in just a few short weeks.

These guys both started their racing careers on 4 wheelers doing Flat Track races, then tried Flat Track on 2 wheels. From there, we switched to only 2-wheel machines and expanded into Motocross because Tucker wanted to, "do big jumps." 😅

This year, our season will look a little different than in years past. Tucker (and Cameron) now want to give some Off-Road racing a try, so we will be doing some Harescramble and Grand Prix races this summer, while still sprinkling in a few Motocross races!

We are incredibly grateful for all the support we have received over the years from family, friends, and strangers turned friends in the dirt bike world. These guys just love to ride and are thankful to be able to do it.

With that said, if you're interested in sponsoring some of our racing this year, please send us a message! Sponsorship money is used for parts, gear, race entry fees, AMA membership fees, etc. And every little bit helps!

Tucker is the Wisconsin Southern Cup 2025 85cc 9-11 Class Champion!

He was super excited to earn one of these custom trophies for his 🥇first place finish! 🏆

We are SO dang proud of him! He's worked hard this year to learn the new bike, take feedback well about where he can improve, and implement changes.

It was awesome to see him clearing some jumps today in practice that he hasn't before! Racing should be fun to watch tomorrow.

Our very last race of the season is tomorrow at Aztalan Cycle Club at 9am. Feel free to come cheer us on one last time before cold weather! 🏁

Again, a BIG thanks to the sponsors who help make all this possible. Support those who support us!

The third round of the Southern Cup at Sugar Maple MX was a great time!

We got to the track Friday night, and when Tucker woke up Saturday morning he wasn't feeling well at all. He managed to get two rounds of practice in, and slept the rest of the day away on the couch.

Sunday morning, he woke up feeling a little better and raced both the 85 9-11 class and the Mini Open. He finished the day with a P2 and P8!

Looking forward to next weekend at Aztalan Cycle Club!

"But don’t forget, it’s okay to play dirt bikes in your AMA district, local track or your own back yard.

LL’s is a part of racing.

But not everything." 🏁🤘

Motocross is motocross, even if you’re still at home.

For The Ones Still At Home…To the kids that didn’t make it to Hurricane Mills;

It’s alright.

If you didn’t qualify - missing a spot by one place or 30 - or if you got the ticket, but not the cash to fund the trip.

If you’re hurt.
Sick.
Tired.

If you’re broken down on the side of the road. If you’re broken down with bikes that won’t run.

If you didn’t even bother. If you didn’t care.

It’s alright.

Loretta’s means a lot.

For many, it’s considered the end-all-be-all of everything there is in amateur motocross racing. If you’re not there, you’re nothing.

But guess what, chicken butt. We ain’t here for that mess.

So you didn’t make it. So you didn’t try. So. Freaking. What?!

Go to your local race track this weekend. Find a shady tree, turn on the stereo in the be**er truck and listen to a little Coal Miner’s Daughter if you feel left out.

Turn some laps. Grill a burger. Pop a cold one with your friends.

Because as much as The Ranch is a part of motocross, The Ranch isn’t ALL of motocross. Hardly, in fact.

You don’t have to be in the top 40 of your class to be a fantastic racer. You don’t have to take out a second mortgage to drag your kid across the country for a 22nd place - and 22nd, that’s pretty damn good.

Here’s the wild facts no one really wants to say but it’s alright a Moto Parent is gonna go ahead and say it:

Hurricane Mills doesn’t matter.

Oh sure, if you’re chasing podium spots in the school boy class, yeah I guess; maybe even top supermini’s. But Factory Team Yamzusky doesn’t care if you’re going 15-29-18 in the C Class Limited.

That doesn’t mean these people aren’t fantastic racers - clearly they are if they’ve made it this far!

BUT what it does mean is that it’s not that serious. Racing at Hurricane Mills isn’t the end all be all of motorcycle achievement.

For the kids and the parents at home, the ones far away from the creeks and Pavillon and the mechanics’ area and the staging and burn out spot and pits deep in the woods…

You’re still motocross families. You still race. Race gas still flows in your veins.

In fact, for everyone, golden ticket or not;

it’s just dirt bikes.

It’s just little kids and medium kids and big kids and old kids riding dirt bikes.

What’s the most fun you’ve ever had actually racing? Ask anyone that’s ever turned laps in that Humphreys County soil and I think you’d be hard pressed to have them answer the most enjoyable ride they’ve ever put in to be at Loretta’s.

Because Loretta’s isn’t the whole of motocross.

It’s okay to be at home.

It’s okay to set a goal and chase after it, too. And if that goal lands you in Tennessee this family will stand and applaud and cheer for you just like my own little racers.

But don’t forget, it’s okay to play dirt bikes in your AMA district, local track or your own back yard.

LL’s is a part of racing.

But not everything.

Motocross is motocross, even if you’re still at home.

See you Sunday!
