DAD’S SOFTBALL TOURNEY

The only sporting event where stretching is considered a competitive advantage.

Roster status:

* 1982 Little League All-Star
* “Played travel ball somewhere”
* D4 college legend (according to him)
* Briefly drafted by an independent league
* Roommate of a guy who got drafted
* Several dads currently listed as day-to-day

And looming over it all:

Lord McDowell’s Cup is currently in the possession of the Captain of Team Meatballs & Matzoh Balls, who has spent the last 2 years drinking High Noons out of it.

Can the challengers bring the Cup home?

Can the defending team survive the inevitable “back tightened up getting out of the car” injury report?

Only one way to find out.

Come watch Ardsley’s dads risk it all for glory, bragging rights, and a trophy they’ll absolutely mention while standing in line at the snack bar for the next 12 months.

Ardsley Little League — meet Logan.

He just turned 1.

If you don’t know Logan yet, you will. His dad bought our first-ever Lifetime Pass at our annual fundraiser and loves to tell the story.

Logan is going to spend many years at McDowell as he masters T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Kid Pitch, AAA, Majors, Juniors … and beyond.

So when you see Logan at McDowell cheering his sisters on, be sure to wish him a happy birthday and introduce yourself to this future Ardsley Little League lifer!

🚨 FAMILY DRAMA: ARDSLEY EDITION 🚨

After taking an L to his little brother Critty earlier in the week, Matty responded the only way he knows how:

📞 Got the call to the Majors.
⚔️ Matchup against older brother Patty
✅ Majors debut victory.

So in just 2 games, we got:

👦 Little brother vs. middle brother
👦 Middle brother vs. older brother
👦👦👦 Three siblings, two divisions, one night of absolute cinema

Matty’s debut line:

🚨 AA-to-AAA Call-Up Report 🚨

Six AA players said, “difficulty level: increase.”

Playing up in AAA, they combined for:

⚾ 3 hits
🏃 2 runs
💥 4 RBIs
👀 4 walks

That’s 13 times on base or driving in runs from a group taking on older competition. Not bad for kids who understood the assignment.

Way to represent the AA squad and show that baseball IQ travels. Keep competing, keep learning, keep cooking. 🔥

⚾️ The Spring of Siblings rolls on…

This time it’s a brotherly battle in AAA as Matty vs. Critty takes center stage, with Critty playing up and wasting absolutely zero time making his presence felt.

🏆 Round 1: Critty

✅ 1-for-1
✅ 2 RBIs
✅ Big brother bragging rights (for now)

Matty may have division experience, but Critty came into AAA like he got the call-up from the majors and chose chaos.

The game isn’t over yet, but the sibling rivalry scoreboard currently reads:

But summer still belongs on the ballfield.

Dirty uniforms. Late sunsets. Bike rides to the park.
Pop flies under the lights. Slushies after the game.
Kids being kids in America.
