First Position Dance Arts has been serving Delaware and Montgomery Counties for 30 years. Our students come from Wynnewood, Ardmore, Penn Valley, Gladywyne, Narberth, Haverford, Bala Cynwyd, Havertown, Overbrook, Philadelphia, Merion, Merion Station, etc. Dancers from First Position often go on to have professional careers. Many also join Dance Teams at some of the best colleges and universities i

n the country. As the owner, I have found that the dancers that take the most classes each week end up at the best schools. Dance allows children to use both sides of their brain, teaches them discipline and time management and helps them focus on their studies better and be overall more successful.
