🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️ FIRST MEET OF THE YEAR! 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️

Our first meet of the season and the first XC meet for our new athletes! 💙💛

I am EXTREMELY proud of every single one of them! They ran hard, competed, pushed themselves, and gave it everything they had. Most importantly, we saw those times improve and come down! ⏱️🔥

We had 3 athletes finish in the Top 25! 🏅👏🏽

Every athlete did an amazing job, and I couldn’t be more proud of the effort, heart, and determination they showed today. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see how much they continue to grow throughout the season!

Ready to hit the trails? Join the Southern Oklahoma Cross Country Team and be part of a fun, encouraging, and active team where athletes build confidence, endurance, friendships, and a love for running!

👟 Who Can Participate?
Kindergarten & Under through 6th Grade

Practice every Tuesday and Thursday at Ardmore Administration Building unless we have a meet!

💲 Registration Cost: $30 per child
✔️ Registration includes a team jersey and team T-shirt.
✔️ Athletes are responsible for the $5 entry fee at each meet.

🚨VOLUNTEERS NEEDED🚨

Southern Oklahoma Track Club is seeking volunteers to help make our upcoming cross country meets a success! We would love for you to join us in supporting our young athletes and help create a positive experience for everyone involved.

We are looking for volunteers for the following events:
Regular Cross Country Meet: Tuesday, September 22 at 4:00pm
Southern Oklahoma Cross Country Championship Meet: Tuesday, October 6 at 3:00pm.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles, including:
Registration and check-in
Course marshals
Finish line assistance
Water station
Timing and results
Awards
General event setup and cleanup

No prior experience is necessary; we’ll provide instructions and assign you to a role that best fits your interests.

Your time and support make a tremendous difference in the lives of our youth athletes, and we truly appreciate your willingness to serve our community.

📣 Our first practice will be Tuesday, August 11 at 7:00 PM at the Ardmore Administration Building.

💧 Please make sure every athlete brings a water bottle to practice! Staying hydrated is important.
