Delta football player Marcus Nagel and Archbold golfer Brie Grime have been named The Village Reporter’s Athletes of the Week following standout performances. Nagel rushed for 272 yards and three touchdowns in Delta’s 43-30 win over Fairview, while Grime fired two rounds of 39 before shooting a 77 to lead Archbold to the team title at its own invitational. Archbold captured its own girls golf invitational August 29 at Ironwood Golf Course, finishing first in the 14-team field with a score of 342.
