Forever a student. 🤍

After 12+ years of practicing Pilates and over 2 years of owning Studio DRT, I spent last week back in teacher training — learning, refining, and deepening my understanding of the work.
There is something so powerful about stepping out of your routine to grow… and then coming right back home to put it all into practice.

Grateful to keep evolving so I can continue to bring you the very best. ✨

It’s not a linear path to get to where you wanna go.

You don’t need the direct path, you just need the direction.

Direction is more important than speed. What’s the rush anyways?

Decide what it is that you want and chip away at it little by little every day.

If you want to be healthier, don’t worry about cutting things out of your diet. Worry about implementing new healthier things to bring you closer towards the life that you want for yourself.

Go on a walk. Go take a hike in nature. Go for a swim. Take the steps instead of the elevator. Eat the banana instead of a cookie.

You have so many choices to create the life you want for yourself. The options are endless.

Just remember that there is no direct path follow. Your choices and life won’t look like the person next to you. It’s all individual.

My advice? Do what feels good and go towards what makes you happy.

Health, happiness, you name it… It’s always been yours to choose.

Did you know that you could book out the studio for a private class or event? We celebrated a birthday here at the studio over the weekend with the sweetest group of girls. Hoping you all had the best time and the birthday girl had the best birthday. Don't forget, Pilates first, party later!

Forward step ups on the chair in real time.

5 reps on each side should take multiple minutes to complete. Pilates exercises are meant to be done slowly and deliberately because it helps ensure proper alignment and form, which can help prevent injury and maximize muscle workouts. Moving slowly also allows the brain to form new connections, which can help you understand the movement better and learn to do it faster.
