Last weekend, some of our JGAA members participated in the Toys for Tots Christmas in July tournament at Arcadia Municipal Golf Course.

Izzy Morris, Brody Prescott, and Brit & Rhett Wiggins came in -12, tied with another team. To break the tie, USGA tiebreaker rules were implemented...

18 holes - tie
Last 9 holes - tie
Last 6 holes - tie
Last 3 holes - even with a birdie on 18, one more stroke meant 2nd place 😀 🏆 ⛳️

Not bad for the youngest team out of 22 groups!!

And Izzy Morris won the putting contest too - only player to hole out. 💯

⛳️ Meet the golf course staff & JGAA volunteers
🏌️ Get fitted for equipment if you don't have your own clubs already

Practices will start the week of Aug 10. Be sure to have your physical, birth certificate, and video completion certificates uploaded so you can be cleared to start practicing. (Incoming freshmen and those new to the sport will also need the heart screening form uploaded. Returning players are exempt.)

July Junior Golf Camp

We met many new faces this week mixed in with some regulars. ⛳️ ❤️ ☀️

The golfers also learned from the Arcadia Police Department, played games, got crafty, and stayed hydrated. Friday's storms brought everyone in early and no power made for a memorable final day with families for lunch and awards!
