⚾️ Arbuckle Little League Needs Your Help! 🥎

As they prepare for another great season, they need more parents, family members, and community volunteers to step up and help fill Board Committee positions.

At this time, they have received only a handful of submissions for these important roles. Without additional volunteers, there may not have enough support to successfully operate the league for the upcoming season. Unfortunately, if key positions remain unfilled, it could impact the ability to offer a season this year.

Arbuckle Little League exists because of the dedication of volunteers. Every registration, game, field preparation, fundraiser, and opening day event happens because community members step up to help.

If you’ve ever considered getting involved, now is the time. No prior board experience is necessary, and they are happy to answer questions about available positions.

Please help keep Little League baseball and softball alive in our community for our kids.

We are well into August! With school starting and changing schedules, we have updated our swim schedule for the month of August. The pool will be open Saturdays 3:30-6pm and Sundays 2-4:30pm. This means we will remain closed weekdays. Our fantastic employees are students, athletes, and involved in numerous clubs with busy schedules. We hope to see you at the pool!🫧🤿

Meet our new lifeguard Ava Ruiz! Ava has been a pool volunteer for 3 years, and 1 year as an employee. She chose to become a lifeguard because she enjoys the responsibility and involvement in the community. Ava’s favorite part of working at the pool are the people and her “pool family”🥹. It’s Monday, meaning we have another swim safety tip! We encourage everyone to take swim lessons, because swim lessons save lives! Learning the basics such as floating, treading water and entering/exiting pools can change the outcome of a water emergency.

Although our lessons may be over for the summer, we still encourage everyone to take proper swim lessons. Each summer we offer youth and adult swim lessons for every level of swimmer. 🛟🤿🫧

It’s Monday, and we’re back with another important safety tip! WEAR BRIGHT TO STAY IN SIGHT! Wearing bright colored swimwear can help save crucial seconds in case of an emergency. Bright colored swimwear allows you to remain visible in bodies of water. During a rescue scenario, lifeguards will be able to locate and rescue a swimmer much quicker. 🛟🫧
