Established in 1924, Trout Lake Golf Club, is the oldest 18-hole golf facility in the Northwoods. After the completion of the back nine in 1926, Trout Lake Golf Club has become a premier golfing destination in the Northwoods and has been enjoyed by thousands. The clubhouse

is the original 1880's logging home, and was recently remodeled with extensive work on the fireplace, golf shop and the historic screened porch overlooking the 18th fairway. You must come out to relax by the fire or on the porch and enjoy some beverages. Trout Lake Golf Club is proud to host the "Number-One" practice facility in the Northwoods, featuring 325 yards of range, a 7000-square-foot putting/chipping green, a 3500-square-foot bunker/chipping green and an exceptional pavilion to relax under and watch others bang 'em out there! We are excited to announce that Trout Lake Golf & Country Club will officially open all 18 holes for play beginning Friday, May 8th 2026 at 11:00am!

Our team is currently in the final stages of course preparations and working diligently to ensure the course is in the absolute best condition possible for the start of the 2026 season. From tee boxes to greens, every detail is being carefully prepared so that all our patrons can enjoy an outstanding golfing experience right from opening day.

We are thrilled with how the course is shaping up this spring, and the golf course is already in fantastic condition. We truly cannot wait to welcome everyone back for another great season of golf, friendships, and memorable days at Trout Lake Golf & Country Club.
