Second question I get is: “Have you ever fallen off the tower while fishing?”

Yep, it’s happened before. Sometimes you take a wrong step, lose your balance, and end up taking an unexpected swim. The important part is getting back up, climbing back on the tower, and getting back to fishing.

My number one question is always, “How do you see those redfish all the time?” 👀🐟

Well, let me show you my secret weapon. Getting elevated above the water gives you a completely different perspective. From up there, spotting cruising fish, tails, wakes, and subtle movements becomes a whole lot easier.

The higher vantage point has helped me find countless redfish that I would have never seen from seat level.

Biggest redfish I’ve ever seen, and I missed it! Had a couple of good casts at him, but I just couldn’t get him to commit. Sometimes that’s fishing the ones you don’t catch are the ones that keep you coming back.

Zack trying out the FANG!

Cotton Mouth Rods has outdone themselves once again with this rod. Lightweight, sensitive, and packed with plenty of backbone when it counts. Safe to say the FANG made a great first impression on the water.

This redfish put up an incredible fight! Zack spent a few extra minutes reviving it before release, and it paid off with a successful swim off. We stayed with it and watched it swim away strong as we drifted along in our kayaks.
