A straight retrieve on a paddle tail is one of the easiest and most effective ways to catch redfish.

Just cast it out, keep a steady retrieve, and cover plenty of water throughout the day. When you find the fish, that paddle tail can be hard for them to pass up!

Easiest way to catch redfish! Find a school of them and they will hit just about anything.
Low tide had them all stacked up in a deep pocket.

Black drum on shrimp was the ticket today. Redfish still don’t feel like eating, picked up a couple on lures but no keepers.

Always testing the limits of my gear, especially these Cotton Mouth Rods. High sticking, putting the pressure on, and just cranking down on fish to see what they can handle.
Also Texas Made Lures Shrimp has been key when sight casting black drum.
