Last year I set out to compete and see what I could do and I must say considering I am not a full time guide on the water everyday I am pretty proud of where I finished. 44 trout over 3 lbs turned in. Unfortunately there were more in there that I wasn’t able to weigh in and submit due to distance to boat or circumstances but it is what it is. 2nd overall in total catches, 2nd in total weight, and 30th overall. Everyday I have a goal when I’m out there, catch fish and get better!

Couple slow days post front and full moon but the quality has been there. Clients got a 30.5”, 8.5lber and a 27” trout. All on pavlures Shrimp scampi. The rest of our fish yesterday and today came off of downsouthlures coastalmarsh purple clear. They wanted real slow lazy cadences. None the less we got it done.
