Our local Aptos High School team is hosting a flag football clinic, coached by the girls varsity flag team and Coach Denise who our community knows from leading spin classes and boot camps. Consider introducing your emerging athlete (ages 1st-8th grade) to this up and coming sport that will be a part of the 2028 Olympics and is starting to be a part of college varsity sports for girls. Skills transfer to other sports with agility, eye-hand coordination, speed, balance, and/or quick reactions and decision making. And it’s coached by the SSCAL league champion players and is sure to be a fun weekend as they share their love of sport and the game.
