Aptos Soccer Club is launching TOPSoccer, a national recreational sports program for children with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities. The program is offered only through local US Youth Soccer-affiliated clubs and provides people with diverse abilities an opportunity to play soccer in a structured environment that is safe, fun, supportive, and inclusive. All teams will be led by a volunteer parent coach. A professional coach will provide weekly practice plans and regularly be on the field to support volunteer coaches and assist players.

The Fall recreational soccer season starts at the end of August and runs until mid November. Teams practice 1-2 days a week depending on the age of the group. Games are played on Saturdays starting a week or so after Labor Day. Your player's registration fee covers the cost of his or her uniform, field rentals, equipment, insurance, trainer time, and for referees at the older age groups.

Aptos Soccer Club's Fall Recreational League aims to provide an affordable program where kids have fun, improve their soccer skills, develop sportsmanship and a love for the game. The teams will be led by a volunteer parent coach. A professional coach will provide weekly practice plans and regularly be on the field to assist volunteers and players.

The seasons starts at the end of August and runs until mid November. Teams practice 1-2 days a week depending on age group with games played on Saturdays starting September 9th. Games are played against other ASC teams at the younger ages. U12 & U15 teams play games against other local Clubs as part of the Santa Cruz County Recreational League. Registration fee covers the professional coach fees, uniforms, field rentals, equipment, insurance and referees at the older age groups.

Spring Rec Soccer - Aptos Soccer is pleased to offer a new spring recreational soccer program for boys and girls ages 4-13. Registration is now open. https://clubs.bluesombrero.com/Default.aspx?tabid=755061
The seasons starts the week of February 20th and runs until the end of April. Teams practice 1-2 days a week depending on age group with games played on Sundays starting March 5th. Registration closes February 5th.

Hi Rec Coaches & Assistant Coaches,

Thank you for volunteering to coach a team this Fall! We want to help all of you have a fun and rewarding experience with the kids. Below are a few key action items and updates for you:

Coaches Meeting - Sunday 8/21, 10:00am at Seascape Golf Club, in the banquet room (the entrance is to the left of the main Clubhouse. Please try to attend. We will provide information about the season, answer questions and distribute equipment.

Rosters sent to coaches - 8/19
Coaches Meeting - 8/21
Practices may begin - Week of 8/22 or the week after at the latest
Game Schedules Published - 8/24
1st Games Played - 9/10
