🏆❤️🥎 WEEKEND RECAP 🏆♥️🥎

Freedom Fastpitch 16U traveled to Burlington, NC this weekend for a 2-Day Tournament with Tier One USA Softball — playing an incredible 8 games in two days and finishing the weekend 5-3!
This season has been a rebuilding year for our girls. We’ve been learning how to play together, trust one another, battle through adversity, and bring the HEART & HUSTLE that Freedom Softball is all about. ❤️🥎💙
Day 1 didn’t go exactly how we wanted. After a rocky start, we finished pool play as the #4 seed. But these girls didn’t let that define their weekend.
They showed up on Day 2 READY TO PLAY. 💪🔥

Along the way, they faced a tough Unity 16U team TWICE — and came away with the win both times, including when it mattered most!
🏆 TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS! 🏆

This is what happens when you keep working, keep believing, and keep fighting for the girl beside you.
Proud of your work, girls! Keep working hard. Keep growing. The work is paying off!

❤️🤍💙🥎We ask that you keep our Freedom family in your thoughts and prayers as we play in our first tournament tomorrow without our beloved Coach JP.

Lord, we come before You today with hearts that are both heavy with loss and strengthened by the memory of our beloved coach JP. As we begin this tournament tomorrow—the first without him by our side—we ask for Your presence to fill this field and our hearts. We thank You for the gift of his life—for his dedication, wisdom, and the passion he poured into our team and into each of us. May the lessons he taught, both in softball and in life, continue to guide our steps. We lift up his family and all who mourn his passing, asking for Your comfort and peace. May his legacy of love, perseverance, and commitment live on through us. Help us honor him not only through our sadness, but with the joy, determination, and competitive spirit he inspired in us. May we play with unity, focus, and sportsmanship, remembering the values he cherished. Bless this team with resilience as we compete. Let us support one another through every play, every inning, and every game. May our games tomorrow be a living tribute to the impact he had on our lives. Keep all teams safe, healthy, and at peace throughout this tournament.
