Can we all agree that fall riding in the Midwest is something special?

The fall colors, the crisp air, the sense of calm after a busy summer, and the landscapes’ transformation in your favorite places to ride are unbeatable.

Crush some gravel, explore the mountain bike trails, or get in your last road ride before winter.

Maybe you need a few extra layers. Maybe you ride with friends or maybe you ride solo. But taking in these calm moments on your bike are incredibly enriching and rewarding. You don’t have to go far from home to enjoy a great ride. And, your future self will thank you for the adventures!

Over the weekend, Dave from W&S in Brookfield, completed the IRONBULL Red Granite Grinder 100, finishing 102 miles in 6 hrs and 50 mins! After more than a year of planning and a summer full of training, Dave pushed through the challenge of what he calls his “toughest day on the bike”.

His biggest takeaways? Learn to be patient, embrace the suck, and along the way. Way to go, Dave!
