LU Hockey Families

The purpose of this program is to promote interaction between the LU hockey players and the Fox Cities (Appleton) hockey community.

Most of the team is from outside the state of Wisconsin, and many of the players are from outside the Midwest.

The Vikings are home this Friday and Saturday night. Instead of normal admission prices, LU will be collecting can goods or cash donations. 4 can goods per person to get into the game. The Midwest Conference is holding a competition across all sports to see which school can get the most donations. Come out to support our guys on the ice and donate to a great organization at the same time.
Anyone who can’t make it and would like to pay via Venmo QR code, please put “Men’s Hockey Giving Fund” in the name or notes box.

The men play an exhibition game tonight at St Norberts. According to St Norbert’s web page it appears this game will not be streamed. We do have next weekend to look forward to as the Vikings play at home on Friday and Saturday.

The Vikings played their first exhibition game last night at Concordia losing 2-1.

It was great to see the guys in action for the inter squad game last night and even more fun to skate with the players after the game. Thanks to the guys for skating with the kids and to the families for coming out and bringing pizzas for everyone to enjoy.
