We start tomorrow. There’s still time to join us for this 4 week contest if you want!

OK, new weight loss and accountability contest info is up! This is a contest spanning four weeks time (begins Friday, March 24- ends Friday, April 21). There will be an accountability winner each week and one overall weight loss winner for the month. (Total of 5 winners-people can win more than once.)

Each participant will pay $20 for the contest with all money going towards the winners’ prize pot.

Everyone weighs in the first day on a digital scale and posts the pic in a private group (no one outside of the contest can see what we’re posting). We will weigh in each Friday thereafter until the last day of the contest.

The weekly accountability contests require those participating to check in within the group with their calorie count for the day (using whatever method they prefer—MyFitnessPal, Net Diary, WW, etc) and a 20 minute exercise requirement (doesn’t matter what it is, just has to be an extra 20 minutes over what you do on a regular basis — walk, weights, run, Zumba, yoga, stretching, whatever). If you successfully check in daily then you’re put into the contest for the week. If there’s a tie then the winner is determined by who (of those eligible) had the largest percentage of body weight lost for the week. Each week’s winner will receive 1/5 of the total prize money.

The overall monthly goal is based purely on weight loss. The person at the end of the 4 weeks with the largest percentage of body weight lost will win the monthly contest. The monthly winner will receive 1/5th of the total prize money.

The point of our contest is not to starve yourself, but to start making good —even if small—choices that lead to great long lasting results. I’ve changed up this contest a bit from the past ones so that weekly winners get more money than they have before. It’s these small daily choices that lead to the best and longest lasting results. We want to reward success, one day at a time.

The more people we have participating, the larger the prizes are, so let’s get on it. Let me know below if you’d like to be added to the private group! Please let me know if you have any questions.
