Pardon our dust! 🚧 Our kitchen is getting a makeover with support from the State of Florida. Renovations are underway and will include all-new cooking equipment, new washing stations, an updated front counter area, a new walk-in cooler and more. We are excited to see the transformation come together and can’t wait to share the finished space with you!

There is a first time for everything! This summer, Quest’s Camp Thunderbird was filled with lots of firsts for our camp guests. 🌞 From coming to camp for the first time to trying a new activity, each first was a chance for camp guests to discover what they are capable of and create memories along the way.

We are missing our weekly talent shows at Camp Thunderbird! 🎤🕺 Each week, camp guests stepped into the spotlight to sing, dance and share their talents. A big thank you to Rollins College for inviting Quest to participate in the 21st Annual SPARC Day!

The students from Rollins helped with beautification projects around Quest's Camp Thunderbird and were absolute rock stars - working hard and smiling through that Florida heat.

Their peer mentor, Haley, even hopped into the dunk tank to cool off! We were also thrilled to welcome President Barnett, who stopped by to say hello.

Thanks for a fun day of service, laughs, and community! We loved being part of it! ⭐

Family Camp is back, and registration is now open! 🌞 Spend the day enjoying classic camp activities and making memories together, with the option to stick around for dinner and s’mores around the campfire. We are still cherishing all the memories we made this summer! Meet Gracie-Mai, who was one of our amazing counselors this summer. ⭐ She is from Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, and she shared about her memories with Emily:

“It was wonderful having Emily at camp. When she came back to camp for another session, and I was doing health checks, she was screaming my name to see me. It was so good to see her and her big smile again. She would also come up the path all the time, saying ‘Gracie, Gracie, Gracie.’ I loved getting to know her, and I was always so excited to see her.”

We are missing our counselors so much! Natalia was one of our awesome counselors this summer. ⭐ She is from Popayán, Colombia, and she shared about spending time with Michael:

“This week has been full of wonderful moments, and spending time with Michael has made it even more special. He is always happy, and he constantly makes me laugh with the things he says and does. His joy is contagious, and every moment with him brings a smile to my face. I'm so grateful for all the fun moments we've shared. These are the kinds of memories I know I'll carry with me for the rest of my life.”

Even though summer camp has come to an end, we are still smiling as we think back on all the incredible memories! 🌞 We already miss our amazing camp guests and staff who made this summer so special. Now it’s time to start preparing for next year!

As we wrap up another incredible summer, we are looking back on just a few of the moments that make Camp Thunderbird so special. From taking the stage at the talent show to bouncing on the jump pillow, camp is filled with so many memories. Thank you to our camp guests, staff and volunteers for making this a summer to remember. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back next year! ⭐
