It's Warrior Wednesday!!!

Let's recognize Tim Romine!

Tim shows up every day of the week, even after working hard outside all day everday. He puts in the work outside the gym as well and eats a clean diet, which is also why he has made significant progress and has lost a ton of fat!

Since joining Tim has worked on his gymnastics movements and got his first bar muscle-up in the open last year! He can now do bar muscle-ups regularly in the workouts. Tim can also do toes to bar, rope climbs, and hand stand push-ups in the workouts, which he couldn't do when he started.

Tim has also worked on his strength and keeping his muscle mass up while losing body fat. He has hit some big PRs lately with his weights. He recently clean and je**ed 235lbs, benches 230lbs, back squatted 325lbs, and deadlifted 385lbs! GAINZZZ! 💪

Tim also plans to serve his country and join the military in January of 2023. We couldn't be more proud of the person he is and the effort he puts forth every day in everything he does. We'll always be cheering you on Timmy!

It's Warrior Wednesday!!!

Let's recognize Mike Finetto!

Since Mike joined the CFHO fam, he has consistently showed up to the 6 am class every day of the week. He's worked on his weaknesses and because of that has made so much progress in a short period of time.

Mike's lifting technique has improved so much and as a result all of his lifts have significantly increased. His PRs include:
Back Squat: 140 to 225
Squat Clean: 50 to 175
Deadlift: 190 to 330
Bench Press: 125 to 190
Thos are some significant GAINZZZ! 💪

Mike's gymnastics skills have also improved. When he started he couldn't do box jumps and now can do the 30" box jumps for reps in WODs! He also went from sit-ups, to knees to chest/heels to hips, to now he can string together multiple toes to bar! All your hard work is paying off Mike!

Mike has also worked hard on his nutrition and has loss 10lbs, 5% body fat, while gaining 5.5lbs of muscle! He said where he has really felt the difference is the way his clothes fit. Clothes he couldn't fit into before are now loose on him. That's such a great feeling!

We're so happy you joined the CFHO fam Mike! You're one of the nicest, positive, motivating, and fun people out there! Keep up all your hard work in and out of the gym. You're a pleasure to coach!

Just keep showing up.

Today, Tomorrow, next week, and year after year.

Do you think showing up is hard? Try restarting over and over again.

Staying consistent will make this journey easier.

It's Warrior Wednesday!!!

Let's recognize Melissa Gonzalez!

Melissa began her journey at CFHO in the boot camp classes. She hadn't lifted heavy weight and was trying to improve her cardio and drop fat quickly. She immediately liked the atmosphere at CrossFit High Octane and joined the CrossFit classes after graduating from boot camp. She wanted to lift heavier weight and increase her muscle mass.

Since joing the CrossFit classes, her muscle mass has increased and body fat has significantly decreased! Her lifts have shot up, she can move much faster in workouts, and can perform gymnastics movements she couldn't before. Melissa can do kipping pullups and toes to bar in workouts now. 💪💪💪

Some of Melissa's huge PR's include:
Back Squat - 110lbs to 165lbs
Bench Press - 70lbs to 105lbs
Power Clean - 80lbs to 123lbs
Strict Press - 60lbs to 83lbs
Push Press - 70lbs to 105lbs
Deadlift - 145lbs to 200lbs

Melissa is also super disciplined with her nutrition at home and is the main reason she's been able to drop her body fat so quickly. Because Melissa has made such progress with her fitness and nutrition, her resting heart rate has gone way down and her heart murmur is now almost undetecatable. 😮

We're so glad you joined the CFHO fam Melissa! It's been awesome watching your progress. Keep up your hard work and dedication in and out of the gym. It definitely shows!

Rafi joined the CFHO fam in Aug 2017 so this month is his 5 year anniversary!! 🎉

Rafi has worked out before but found a sense of motivation and competition at the 5:30 class, which has become his home away from home. Rafi is such a humble, positive and fun guy to be around. He's always uplifting people and making them laugh.

Rafi's gymnastics skills have improved alot. He can now rep out dubs, hspu and bar MU. His strength has also significantly increased and the majority of his lifts have gone up around 100lbs or more!! 💪
