Some experiences don’t just give you a moment—they leave something with you.
Last week, I had the honor of speaking at the Virginia Credit Union Women’s Financial Success Summit in both Roanoke and Richmond, Virginia. I went there hoping to inspire, educate, and pour into others—but I can truly say the experience inspired and poured into me. 700 women gathered to become financially healthy. WOW!
To Cherry Dale and the entire Virginia Credit Union team, thank you for the incredible hospitality, care, and intentionality you showed me throughout the experience. I felt welcomed, valued, and genuinely supported.
And to every woman who came up to me afterward—thank you.
To the women who encouraged me to stay on assignment…
To the women who shared how my message impacted her…
To the women who simply leaned in and whispered, “I’m proud of you” in my ear…
Please know that your words were priceless.
Sometimes we don’t realize how much a few words of encouragement can mean to someone who is constantly pouring into others. I carried those words home with me.
I am so grateful for every conversation, every connection, every hug, every story shared, and every amazing woman I had the opportunity to meet.
As you continue your financial journey, I wish each of you success—not just in what you accumulate, but in the confidence, freedom, and possibilities you create along the way.
Stay on purpose. Stay on assignment. Keep becoming.
And remember: sometimes the person standing on the stage came to pour into you…only to discover that you were pouring into her, too.
