Larry Robinson caught this 100lb Tarpon on a Quantum Cabo 40PT, a Bull Bay #17 Rod with 30lb test Vicious braided line and a 30lb test Ohero leader.
We were fishing for trout and Larry was surprised with a fish of a lifetime on light tackle! Great Job Larry!

Chris Russell battled this 60lb. Cobia for 45 minutes on light tackle. 20 lb test Vicious braided line and a Quantum Cabo 40 reel! Great job Chris!

Great day on the water today with Bill Congelio and his friend Rick. They caught a 42" Cobia, limited out on Mangrove Snapper, limited out on redfish, caught and released 36+ snook. We also tangled with big " golden" Pompano .... LOL a la Jack Crevalle. Just a fantastic day!

Ken, visiting from New York, caught Snook, Redfish, and some monster Jack Crevalle on Tuesday's Tampa Bay Fishing Charter. The Quantum PT 40 Cabo reel easily handled the drag ripping fight of those 20lb plus Jacks. The reels were paired with TBO rods using 20lb Viscous braid and 30lb Ohero fluorocarbon leader.

Yesterday big trout were hitting every bait Jim tossed into one of my trout honey holes. He caught and released at least ten and then it was time to go hunt down some Snook and Redfish. The Quantum Cabo 40 reel and TFO 7.5' medium was the perfect combo!

Brian and his son Casey went on a a TampaBaysfishingcharter with there Grandfather Mike and their friend Richard Jones all from the Kentucky / Ohio area. Well they caught Snapper, Redfish, Snook, Trout, Sharks, Black Sea Bass, Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Flounder, not to mention jumping a 90lb. Tarpon on one of the trips ... fishing is great in Tampa Bay ... take some time to enjoy a great day on Tampa Bay!.

The Mackerel ans Snook continue to dominate the bite on recent Charters. Many of my recent trips we have been catching a variety of Macks, Snook, Redfish, Spotted Sea Trout and more ... It's that time of year when everything is feeding!

Gary and Ann from upstate New York experienced some great Florida fishing today. They caught Mackerel, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Snook, and a nice big Redfish. They kept the Redfish and a few snapper for dinner.
