Finding yourself in a position where you fear for your own safety is not the time to think “I should have prepared for this.” Yet, for many women, these are very the moments that trigger them to think about their personal safety for the first time. They are what drove me to serve 21 years of Federal Service as a Law Enforcement Officer, including 18 years as a Firearms Instructor. Even being the d

aughter of a police officer, who grew up with firearms in the house, I did not have the proper mindset, or the opportunity to get comfortable with their use until my training began. Since retiring from Federal service, I have spoken with many women who want to become more confident in their personal safety, but they don’t follow through for a number of reasons: they can’t find an instructor they can relate to, or that “gets” them; they can’t sift through the glut of information online that they don’t understand, and find very little information that speaks directly to the specific needs and concerns of women. That is why I founded Triple C Strategies: to inspire, encourage and teach women to develop the mindset, tools, and confidence to avoid, de-escalate, or deal with an adversarial circumstance and SURVIVE! It's not about being paranoid, ladies. Ladies, regardless of where you are on your journey towards self-reliance, I am committed to fostering a nurturing, confidence-building environment where women can learn from one another, share their experiences, and create a community of solidarity, with the common goal of becoming a better-informed and prepared version of themselves! Before you find yourself in a moment of “ I wish I had prepared,” let’s get ready today- together.

Happy New Year!!

After much consideration, I have decided to retire yet again. As often happens, circumstances change and we find ourselves taking a different path than originally planned. The key is to always remain flexible, pivoting to reinvent yourself and create a life filled with genuine happiness. I truly believe life is happening FOR us, not just TO us.

February 18th will be my last advertised class. I will be available for private lessons until April 1st.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for trusting me with your training and for your collective support in this endeavor.

Not sure what to give your "special someone" for Christmas? Consider a gift certificate for the upcoming Co-Ed Basic Pistol Class on Saturday, January 7th!

No firearm ownership required for the Basic class. Students must be eligible to legally own/handle a firearm.
All classes meet and exceed the training criteria to apply for a Florida Concealed Carry Permit.
