Tonight was our last practice of our first season in 14U. As many can attest to, making the jump from 12U is one of the biggest in age groups.
We’ve had our share of ups and downs. Ups includes back to back no-hitters, a walkoff OTF grand slam, daring base running, and ESPN worthy defensive plays.
Downs include those humbling losses, fielding woes, and what the heck is the coach doing.
Through it all, they kept coming back for more. Always eager to learn, grow and develop. They constantly remind me that softball is fun. It's a great sport for all shapes and sizes.
