🎓 2026 Senior Shoutout: Emmy Jones🎓

My favorite memory:
USAV nationals last year was so much fun! I loved playing with Lexi, and giggling at the team dinner! It was such a cool experience to have with such fantastic people!

Advice for younger players:
Don’t give up, even when you feel like you aren’t making any progress you are! Keep going to practice keep giving 100%

Plans after high school:
I’m attending NC State in fall to study textile technology!

Shoutout:
I want to shoutout Coach Mark for making such an amazing program!! And to all the coaches for amazing practices and support! Coach

Jenny thank you so much for supporting us at nationals last year! Shoutout to Lexi for being so amazing, and helping me be my best!

I’m also very thankful for all the leadership opportunities this program provides, which helped me grow as a person not just a volleyball player! Thank you to everyone at SSV!

My favorite memory: Co-ed/ king and queen of the court tournaments. It’s fun to have the entire club getting to play with new people!!

Advice for younger players: As long as you are giving 100% effort physically, mentally, and to be a good partner things will work out for you!!

Plans after high school: Go to UNC as an Exercise Science and pre med major! I hope to become an ER doctor one day.

Shoutout: Shoutout to Emma Mackie and Ella Bagget for encouraging me to come to SSV!! Shoutout to all of my teammates and coaches for making every practice and tournament so much fun!! Thank you :)

Fav memory: Playing at captain bills with Laney.

Advice for younger players: Use every practice and tournament as a time to learn something new, develop your skills, and build friendships. Take advantage of everything SSV has to offer and push yourself out of your comfort zone!

Plans after high school: Will be attending NC State University for Graphic and Experience Design and as a Park Scholar

Shoutout: Thank you to my parents for always supporting me throughout my volleyball journey. Whether it was taking me to tournaments, or giving me encouraging words after a difficult game, they helped keep my love for this sport alive.
