This is as intense as it gets!
This is a throwback to the beginning of last year’s fall/winter season.
The dogs rigged this big boar hog and had him bayed solid in the sawgrass. We don’t run a catch dog, just some rough bay dogs that can catch most hogs. But sometimes you find a really rank one like this and it’s time to bring out the firepower 💥.
The thick sawgrass makes it tough in several ways:
1. You can’t see the hog until you are practically on top of them.
2. The dogs can’t move well in it and it can be very dangerous for them to get away from the hog.
All of this combined to make some of the most adrenaline pumping and intense hunting there is!
It doesn’t always happen like this but no matter how it happens it gets the ol’ blood pumping!
